Students at St Joseph’s are expected to wear the correct school uniform every day. In wearing our uniform they are representing the school and as such need to uphold our strong reputation in the community. Wearing the uniform respectfully is not only an outward sign of belonging to the school community, but a way to express their pride in, and commitment to the school. It is also important that the uniform is worn correctly due to the necessity to meet work, health and safety requirements.
Wearing the correct uniform includes not substituting sports or agricultural uniform for formal school uniform by choice. If part of the school uniform is not able to be worn, a parental note is required. This note must be presented to the relevant Student Coordinator immediately upon arrival at school and a student will be issued with a out-of-uniform pass for the day.
All items of the school uniform are only available from the Uniform Shop. The Uniform Shop is located in the demountable building in the spare block adjacent to the staff car park and church. Entry is through the black gates on Segenhoe Street. Most uniform items in various sizes are in stock but occasionally supplies are exhausted. Pre-ordering is advisable to ensure delivery before school commences or the season changes.
